Enter the Haggis and The Elders Ireland Tour 2008 (Explanation)

Sorry about that guys! I jumped into that last post without properly explaining what the tour was!
There are two Celtic Rock bands that I enjoy listening to, Enter the Haggis (enterthehaggis.com) and The Elders( eldersmusic.com). These two bands went on a fan tour of Ireland from March 1-March 8th. There was a pre tour(which I went on) that started on the 28th of Febuary. We stopped in Arklow, Dublin, Kilarney and Galway, Ireland.
They played a show every other night. It was a great tour. Met a lot of new people both from the states and from Ireland.
That is what the previous post is about.
Hope this explained it a bit more.
Talk soon!

Enter the Haggis and The Elders Ireland Tour 2008

Hey all this is Ashling.
Just got back from the tour this weekend. I’m still a bit spacey but mostly recovered. I made a lot of good friends in Ireland and had tons of fun. It’s almost impossible to try and explain how great the trip was. I didn’t take many band pictures or video, I took some video and then my cousin is allowing me to steal her pictures to share. I hope that these will show even the small bit of fun that was had.
Hope you’re all doing well and in case I don’t talk to you
HAPPY ST.PATRICK’S DAY!!!!!

This is our bus driver, he was so great.

The first night in Kilarney the guys had a small session in the bar of the hotel, these are some short videos from them.

Last and not least, this is the last song of the entire tour. One of the greatest performances I have seen in awhile. You’ll have to excuse the video, I wasn’t sure where to focus, there was too much to try and show!

Here are some pictures of the guys in action thanks to my cousin Meghan for taking those. The pictures of the guys by themselves and with people are mine.

This is a guy we met in Arklow,Ireland. We ended up becoming such good friends he came to 3/4 shows. He likes to sing, can you tell. Thought you might find it amusing. (:
I'll post some pictures from the actual Scenery pictures later.

I know this is suppose to be a blog about Sara and my Adventures together, but I'm thinking since we are going to be doing a lot of touring on our own too we might as well share our individual journey's.

Sara is about the head off on a 6 week tour of Greece, Italy, Germany, France and England. I'll let her talk more about that though.
